Donna started working at the Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2004 and had continued on with us at Wingham and Valley Vets. Working with animals has always been a dream of Donna’s, though she had a varied career prior to joining us. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Tamworth in 2007, and maintained the standards set by previous Valley Vet staff by topping all her subjects!!
Donna lives on a property with her husband Rob, with their two canines, two cats and two horses. In true vet nurse style, Donna rescued (and kept) a pound puppy within her first week of work, and also homed an aged, injured, abandoned stray dog. It’s this compassion which makes Donna so well suited to her job.
Puppy Preschool Classes are Donna’s passion – she runs these regularly in our purpose-built training room.
